As MSc Course Director of the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies (IPPS) entitled “Pedagogy through Innovative Technologies and Biomedical Approaches”, University of West Attica, it is my privilege to welcome you to IPPS and its electronic sites.

IPPS emerged after fruitful collaboration between the UNIWA Departments of “Biomedical Sciences” and “Education and Care in Early Childhood” of the School of Health Sciences and the School of Administrative, Economic and Social Sciences and the Pedagogical of School of Pedagogical and Technological Education. IPPS characterized by interdisciplinarity and approaching Pedagogy holistically, while utilizing both New Technologies and approaches from the field of Biomedical Sciences (covering issues of Neurobiology, Genetics, etc.), it becomes a pioneer in its postgraduate programs.

WHY SHOULD I PREFER IT

  • Provides its graduates with certified Pedagogical and Teaching Adequacy (Government Gazette 3784 / vol. B ‘/ 14-10-2019).
  • Ensures to the graduates of the Inclusive Education specialization a proven relevance to Special Education and Education (Government Gazette 1812/τ.Β’/29-04-2021).
  • Through the Specialization of Inclusive Education offers a holistic approach to issues related to Special Education and Training, as well as the educational and social integration of groups of the population with disabilities.
  • With the successful attendance of four (4) computer courses, which are included in the study program, provides a certificate for the adequacy of computer skills recognized by ASEP.
  • Classes are held Friday afternoon and Saturday.
  • Remote monitoring through distance learning in conjunction with lifelong learning
  • Ensures the maximum number of points (20) in the Teacher Appointments System.
  • Assigns the maximum number of points (4) to the scoring of training candidates.
  • Has excellent evaluation by its current students.
  • It is in high demand since its first cycle.
