The main objective of this course is for postgraduate students to explore teaching processes by functioning successively and reflectively both as learners and as educators within real pedagogical contexts.

Specifically, the course aims to bring trainees into direct contact with teaching practices in representative institutions of education, art, and culture. Through exposure to various issues and challenges, it seeks to enhance their teaching skills, thereby improving their instructional fluency and technique.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will:

  • Be able to recognize and identify teaching skills (e.g., questioning, student reinforcement, etc.).
  • Be familiar with various participatory teaching techniques (e.g., brainstorming, case study, concept mapping, simulation, etc.) that promote active participation, and be able to apply them in their teaching.
  • Understand that different alternative actions and processes can lead to effective teaching.
  • Improve their teaching fluency by observing the teaching activities of their peers and discussing various instructional issues with them.
  • Examine their work independently and/or collaboratively in an international and interdisciplinary environment to generate new research ideas, design, and manage projects.
  • Engage in reflective practice, which contributes to the self-assessment of their personal learning.
