Maria Moundridou is an Assistant Professor of ‘Educational Technology & Multimedia’ in the Department of Education at the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE) in Athens, Greece, since 2007. She received her Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of Piraeus, Greece, in 2002 and her B.Sc. in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 1996.
She has taught graduate and postgraduate courses at ASPETE, the Universities of West Attica, Athens, and Piraeus, as well as at the Hellenic Air Force and Army Academies.
Her research interests span Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), Adaptive Hypermedia Systems (AHS), ITS and AHS Authoring Tools, User Modelling, Virtual Learning Environments, and Artificial Intelligence in Education. She has actively participated in a number of national and European R&D projects and project proposals in her areas of research. She has published in several prestigious journals and conference proceedings and currently, there are more than 600 citations to her published work.
