The qualifications and benefits provided upon successful attendance and graduation from the IPSP (Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Program), as well as the development prospects for graduates, are as follows:
- Graduates of all specializations of the IPSP secure certified Pedagogical and Didactic Proficiency (Government Gazette 4319/Issue B’/12-08-2022).
- Graduates of the “Specialization in Inclusive Education” of the IPSP secure established relevance to the subject of Special Needs Education (Government Gazette 308/Issue B’/25-01-2023), which grants the right of inclusion in the main Special Needs Education rosters for non-appointed teachers.
- Studies in the “Specialization in Inclusive Education” of the IPSP offer a holistic approach to issues concerning Special Needs Education, as well as the educational and social inclusion of individuals and population groups with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
- Upon successful attendance of four (4) IT courses included in the Study Program, postgraduate students secure a certificate of PC knowledge proficiency, recognizable by ASEP (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection).
- Graduates of the IPSP secure the maximum number of points (20) in the Teacher Appointment System.
- Successful completion of studies in the IPSP yields the maximum number of points in the selection procedures for education executives.
- Specifically, through studies in the IPSP:
- Skills in teaching design, implementation, and evaluation are improved.
- Specialized knowledge is provided on issues concerning behavior in the school environment at all levels of education.
- The opportunity to apply knowledge in a real classroom environment (Microteaching/Teaching) is offered.
- The opportunity to acquire and/or improve knowledge related to computational teaching models and e-learning is offered.
- Knowledge is provided to highlight research areas for students, enabling them to organize educational research.
- Graduates of the IPSP are prepared for the 3rd cycle of studies leading to the acquisition of a Doctoral Diploma.
