The main objective of this course is for postgraduate students to engage in the exploration of teaching processes, functioning successively and reflectively as learners and as teachers within the pedagogical reality.

Specifically, the course aims to bring trainees into direct contact with teaching positions and practices within representative institutions of education, art, and culture, and through various issues and challenges, to enhance their teaching skills and improve their instructional flexibility and technique.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Recognize and identify teaching skills (e.g., questioning techniques, student reinforcement, etc.).
  • Be familiar with various participatory teaching techniques (e.g., brainstorming, case study, concept mapping, simulation, etc.) that foster active engagement and be able to apply them in their own teaching.
  • Understand that different alternative actions and processes can lead to effective teaching.
  • Improve their teaching fluency by observing the teaching activities of their peers and discussing various instructional issues with them.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within an international and interdisciplinary environment to produce new research ideas, plan, and manage projects.
  • Engage in reflective practice, contributing to the self-assessment of their personal learning.

  • In-depth understanding of the application of differentiated pedagogy principles and Universal Design for Learning.

    • Teaching models.
    • Planning: implementing institutions, timeline.
    • Evaluation criteria.

  2. Theoretical support / Lecture – Seminar.
    • Intercultural education in Greek schools for students from socially vulnerable backgrounds.
    • Feedback stage.
    • Reflection – Redesign.
