Course Tutors
The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge and to develop skills and competencies in relation to innovative and creative applications of technology in pedagogical practices of Early Childhood Education.
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
Knowledge level
- Have proven knowledge and application of innovative ideas using technology in pedagogical work with preschool children. Within the framework of action research, they will be able to integrate pedagogical work with innovative and creative activities.
- Be informed about current trends in the application of technology in pedagogical practice.
- Recognize the positive contribution of technology in the field of Special Education, particularly for preschool children with special abilities.
Skills level
- Be capable of utilizing information in forms of learning for preschool age through innovative interactive activities and developmentally appropriate software.
- Organize “learning centers” for children using new technological tools, observe and study children’s behavior in relation to developmental domains by systematically recording and utilizing the potential of modern technological means.
- Be able to apply their knowledge, understanding, and skills to solve problems in applications within familiar or unfamiliar contexts, either in their own field or in a related one.
Competence level
- Have the ability to integrate new technology with various forms and modes of expression and communication (creative play, language, writing, arts).
- Be able to communicate the rationale of the pedagogical process they choose and their conclusions, both to specialized and non-specialized audiences.
- Possess the necessary learning skills that allow them to continue their studies in a largely independent or autonomous manner.
