Certification of PC Knowledge Proficiency for IPSP Students, Recognizable by ASEP

The Program Steering Committee (PSC) of the IPSP (Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Program) titled “Educational Sciences through Innovative Technologies and Biomedical Approaches,” considering:

  • The annex issued by ASEP (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection), dated 22-01-2016, concerning PC KNOWLEDGE PROFICIENCY – WAYS OF PROOF, Case 3,
  • The outlines of the common courses for all three specializations:
    • Introduction to Educational Technology
    • Integration of Technology in Educational Practice
    • Applications of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Assistive Technology in the School and Social Inclusion of Students with Disabilities and/or Special Learning Difficulties
  • The outline of the compulsory course of the “Early Childhood Education” specialization:
    • Technological Innovations and Creativity in Pedagogical Practice
  • The outlines of the courses of the “Primary/Secondary Education” specialization:
    • Technology and Modern Trends in the Didactics of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
    • Technology and Modern Trends in the Didactics of Language Courses

unanimously decided that:

  1. The aforementioned courses fall within the field of Informatics or PC operation skills.
  2. Postgraduate students, by successfully completing and passing four of the aforementioned courses, receive, upon their request, a certificate of PC KNOWLEDGE PROFICIENCY from the IPSP, recognizable by ASEP.
