Raptis Nikolaos

Nikolaos G. Raptis is Assistant Professor in the Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design of the Faculty of Humanities of the Aegean University.

During the period 1985 – 2019 he was working in Primary Education, at the beginning as a teacher and later on as an educational administration official, climbing gradually the steps of professional hierarchy in Primary Education and gaining valuable experience from different institutional posts. More specifically, after working as a teacher, he served as Head of School Unit, School Counselor, Director of Primary Education for the Dodecanese and Regional Director of Education for the South Aegean.

From 2006 until his appointment as Assistant Professor, in parallel to his work in Primary Education, he was working on a contract basis as a lecturer in the Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design and as a research associate in postgraduate programs of the same department. He is the author of scientific books and articles. His research interests focus on Leadership and Management of Educational Units and Systems.
